Uptown Core is Oakville's busiest mixed-use area, with condo and apartment buildings, offices, retail plazas and townhouses. Most residents park underground or in structured and surface lots. Many people also work nearby, so the car is in a lot all day.

Parkade dust and plaza traffic.
Underground cars avoid the weather but collect brake dust, tire dust and a film from garage air. Dashboards and screens get dusty. Surface-lot cars face the Dundas St corridor: heavy traffic, salt in winter, and plenty of tar and road film. Highway 407 is minutes away, so commuting adds bug splatter and stone dust to bumpers and hoods.

Interiors first.
In a parkade, an interior detail is often the easiest to approve and complete, since it uses little water. Interior Restoration starts from $119 $149 and includes deep vacuum and steam, carpet and seat extraction, leather clean and condition, glass, trim and console. A steam sanitization of high-touch areas appeals to anyone who shares the car.
