Smaller lots, shared walls.
Kerr Village mixes older bungalows and detached homes, newer infill, townhouses and some low-rise apartments. Driveways tend to be shorter than in north Oakville, and some homes have a single-car garage or a pad at the rear. Street parking is common, and the shops and restaurants along Kerr St draw traffic.
That is workable for mobile detailing. We need space to open the doors and a place to set up the equipment without blocking a neighbour. Tell us about your parking in the quote form and we will confirm what is practical. If your building has visitor spaces or a private lot, that can work well too.
Short trips, QEW miles.
Kerr St has a QEW interchange, so many residents hop on the highway for work. That means a mix of stop-and-go town driving and highway speed, with salt and road film from the QEW in winter and bug splatter in summer.
Short trips are hard on interiors, because the heater and AC never fully dry the cabin. Moisture and salt on the carpets can leave a stale smell by March. Our winter salt removal add-on ($40) pulls the white residue out of carpets and mats, and how to clean salt stains from car carpet explains the basics.
Being close to the lake, some streets get a gusty film on glass and paint, but it is lighter than at the water's edge.
Services that fit village life.
For most Kerr Village drivers, Interior Restoration (starts from $119 $149) gives the biggest change per dollar. If the paint is dull from highway use, Exterior Revival starts from $103 $129. Both are available together as The Full Detail, starting from $176 $220.
Smaller jobs fit well in tight spots too, since interior work needs little water. See interior detailing in Oakville for more.
