Short trips, big mess.
Most Morrison driving is short: school, hockey, the grocery store, the GO station. Short trips mean the interior rarely airs out, and wet boots, snack crumbs and drinks sit in the carpets for weeks. Interior Restoration starts from $119 $149. Van and minivan add $50, SUV +$30.
See minivan and family car detailing for what we do inside a family vehicle, and our floor mat guide for between visits.
A seat or carpet that still smells after cleaning usually has a spill deeper in the foam. Extraction pulls the liquid out, which a surface wipe cannot do. If the smell is pet or food related, ask about our odour removal as well.
Salt, slush and the QEW.
When commuters head for the QEW and Lakeshore Rd in winter, the car collects salt on carpets and lower panels. White tide lines on the carpet are salt, not dirt, and they need extraction to lift. The winter salt mess add-on is $40. See salt removal and our carpet salt guide.
Cars that sit outside all winter benefit from a sealant before the snow; winter protection covers it.
Rinse the wheel arches whenever you wash the car in winter. Salt packs there and keeps working for weeks, so an occasional rinse at home helps a lot between visits.
Setup and booking.
Morrison driveways usually hold one or two vehicles, and many homes have a garage. We bring our own water, power and lighting and work beside the car. If you are out all day, we can often work while you are away, as long as the car is accessible and you are free for the walk-around.
For a full inside and outside reset, The Full Detail starts from $176 $220.
The interior usually takes 2 to 4 hours, and the full detail 3 to 5, so book a morning or afternoon and we will fit around your schedule.
