Younger streets, more sun.
Iroquois Ridge is mostly newer detached homes and townhouses, with driveways that fit one to two vehicles. Trees are younger than in south Oakville, so many cars park in full sun for much of the day. Garages are common, but many are used for storage and the car lives in the driveway.
Open driveways make our job simple. We bring our own water, power and lighting, and we can work in the driveway, with a garage as a rain backup.
If it rains, we reschedule at no charge. Every job finishes with a panel-by-panel walk-around, and anything that is not right gets fixed on the spot.
What sun does to a car.
UV and heat slowly harm a car. The dashboard dries, cracks or fades, leather seats lose moisture, and clear coat oxidizes on horizontal panels like the roof and hood. Black and dark cars heat up the most. Interior plastics also release a film that fogs the inside of the glass.
A leather clean and condition keeps seats supple, and we clean the dash and trim as part of the interior. Read our leather seat care guide and leather cleaning and conditioning page for details. Outside, a sealant or ceramic coating adds a protective layer to the paint.
Highways and school runs.
Residents are near Upper Middle Rd and the 407, with the QEW not far, and the usual salt, road film and brake dust follow. Sports at the community centre and school runs add dirt and spills to the interior. Cars here often do a lot of short trips.
An Interior Restoration (starts from $119 $149) with steam sanitization keeps high-touch surfaces clean.
Salt can come into the cabin through winter boots, so the winter salt mess add-on ($40) is worth considering in March.
Close by and booking.
Joshua Creek and River Oaks are next door and get the same service. For paint, Exterior Revival starts from $103 $129. See the Oakville page for the full list, or book a quote.
