Narrow streets, small driveways.
Bronte has older cottage-style houses, new infill builds, townhouses and condos near the harbour. Lots can be small, driveways short, and street parking is common, especially around Lakeshore Rd W. Summer visitors to the harbour fill the spaces on warm weekends.
We need space beside the car and a safe place to set up. A driveway, a rear lot or a nearby private lot all work. If street parking is your only option, we will talk through what is workable before booking.
Many Bronte owners drive a daily car plus something for weekends, and both end up parked outside near the water. If you have two vehicles, the second in the same booking is 20% off.
Gulls, spray and dampness.
Being on the water means gull droppings, which are acidic and etch clear coat in strong sun. It also means damp air and wind off the lake, so glass and paint pick up a film quickly. Wheels and brake components can show surface rust sooner in damp conditions.
Winter salt from Lakeshore Rd and the QEW compounds it. A coating makes bird droppings and film much easier to remove, and the road salt guide explains how to rinse safely.
What fits a lakeside car.
An Exterior Revival (starts from $103 $129) removes film and contamination and cleans wheels. If you want it to stay clean longer, Ceramic / Protection starts from $399 $499. We also offer salt removal in Oakville for interiors that carry winter's mess in.
Next door in Old Oakville and Glen Abbey, we do the same work. See the Oakville page, or get a quote.
Doing it near the water.
We bring our own water, power and lighting. Windy days make for poor conditions, and we will rebook if the weather will not allow good results. We reschedule for free, or work from a garage.
Prefer not to be home? You only need to be there for the walk-around at the end, where we check every panel with you and fix anything that is not right. Pay by card, e-transfer or cash.
