Dark paint tells the truth
On a dark car, light swirls look like spider webs in sun and under garage lights. They come from washing and wiping, not from driving. A one-step polish removes a tiny layer of clear coat to level them out, so reflections look sharper.

Many Oakville owners wash their cars at home or use a hand-wash service, but even careful washing leaves faint marks over time. A towel with a little grit in it, a drying pass across a dusty panel or a gloved wipe on a dry door all add up. By year three or four, a dark car usually has some.
What one-step does and does not do
This is a single-stage enhancement, not multi-stage correction. It reduces light swirls and haze. Deep scratches and stone chips remain.
- Wash and decontaminate, including clay.
- Mask trim.
- Machine polish, panel by panel.
- Wipe to remove oils.
- Review under bright light with you.

Expect a clear difference on most cars, but not perfection. We show you before and after areas during the walk-around, panel by panel, so you can judge for yourself. If a section of paint has thin clear coat, we avoid pushing it, and tell you why.
A one-step polish is also gentler than aggressive correction. It removes much less material, which matters on newer cars with factory paint you want to keep for years.

Before a coating
Many Oakville owners combine this with protection. Our ceramic coating includes this polish as prep, so you do not pay twice. If you only want the polish, we recommend sealing the paint afterwards.
You will see this on the quote form as paint enhancement. If you tell us you want a coating later, we will recommend booking it once rather than separately, since the polish is already part of the ceramic prep.
Choosing a day
Polishing is easiest in a garage or shade, since direct sun heats the paint. Many Oakville homes have double garages, which is ideal. Old Oakville and Joshua Creek owners often choose this.
If you only have a driveway, early morning or late afternoon work is better in summer, because hot panels dry polish too fast. We will plan the day to suit the weather. If it rains, we reschedule free.
