Pet hair removal in Burlington.

If a vacuum leaves hair behind in your carpet and seats, it is because the hair is woven in, not sitting on top. We remove it properly at your Burlington driveway.

Why a vacuum alone fails

Dog and cat hair have tiny barbs. Walk on carpet and the hair works into the loops, then lies flat and locks in. A vacuum pulls the loose strands and skips the rest. That is why you can vacuum a back seat three times and still see a fuzzy layer in the sunlight.

Burlington dog owners know this well. A weekend walk on the waterfront trail or a trip to the vet, and the back seat or cargo area is covered again. The goal is to take out what is bonded and get the car to a state where a regular vacuum can keep up.

Hair also holds dander and oils, which are the real cause of the pet smell many owners notice on warm days. Removing the hair and extracting the carpet takes care of both.

How we remove it

Pet hair removal is an add-on to our interior package at +$40, and interior details start from $119 $149. The process:

  1. Loosen the hair with rubber brushes and stone tools that pull it out of the pile.
  2. Blow it out of seams and crevices with compressed air.
  3. Vacuum thoroughly, in passes, from the top down.
  4. Steam and shampoo extraction on carpets, mats and fabric to lift the oils and dander that hold hair in place.
  5. Wipe and condition leather, where hair clings through static.
  6. Final vacuum and inspection under bright light.

Allow 2 to 4 hours for the full interior. See the pet hair removal service for more.

What it will not do

We are honest about limits. Hair embedded for years in old, worn carpet may not come out completely. Chewed trim and scratched leather will not disappear either. What you should expect is a clear improvement and an interior that is much easier to keep clean. If you want to try tricks between visits, our dog hair removal guide shows what works.

Cargo areas, leather and fabric differ

Where the hair lives changes how we remove it. On leather, hair sits on the surface and clings through static, so it comes off with a damp wipe and conditioner. On cloth seats and carpet, it is woven into the pile, which is where the brushes and extraction do the work. The cargo area is the toughest: the carpet liner is usually low-pile and tightly woven, and hair collects in the corners and the folds of any removable liner.

If you carry a dog crate or a bed in the back, tell us. We will lift it, vacuum under it and check the tie-down points, which are favourite hiding places for fur.

Seasonal shedding matters too. Spring and autumn are the worst, so a pet hair visit in late spring tends to give the longest-lasting result.

Booking in Burlington

We bring our own water, power and lighting, so a driveway in Alton Village, a condo spot or an office lot works. If your dog travels in the car, a quick tip: bring them inside during the visit. For heavier pet messes, heavy stains are +$50 and odour is +$50. SUVs add $30.

See the Burlington car detailing page, or go straight to the quote form and add photos of the worst areas. The tailored quote is usually same day.
