One visit instead of three
People often book an interior detail, then an exterior, then wonder about protection. The Full Detail combines them. We start inside, finish outside and seal the paint, so nothing gets re-dirtied by the next step. It saves a second trip and a second day of planning.
Not sure whether you need everything? Our interior vs exterior vs full detail guide walks through the choice honestly. Sometimes a single service is all you need.
It also makes scheduling easier. Instead of juggling three appointments, you pick a day, move the car to a spot with room to work and get a single price. The tailored quote is usually back the same day you send the form.
What happens, in order
The Full Detail starts from $176 $220 and takes 3 to 5 hours.
- Interior: deep vacuum, steam, carpet and seat shampoo extraction, leather clean and condition, glass, trim and console.
- Exterior: hand wash and dry, iron and tar decontamination, clay bar treatment.
- Wheels and tires cleaned, trim dressed.
- Sealant applied to the paint for protection.
- Final walk-around with you, panel by panel.
Interior first is deliberate: dust and debris fall from the cabin, and we do not want it landing on a freshly sealed car.
Before and after, in practice
A full detail does not hide problems; it removes everything that is not a problem. Dirt, grime, salt, bonded contamination and stale smells all go. What stays is whatever is truly part of the car: light swirls from years of washing, small chips, worn bolsters. We tell you which is which during the walk-around, so there are no surprises and no overselling.
If swirls bother you, the one-step paint enhancement is a separate service that reduces light swirl marks, and it is included as the prep stage of our ceramic package.
The goal is simple: a car that looks and smells clean on Monday and is still easy to keep that way by Friday.
The Burlington angle: salt, sun and the lake
Cars here face salt from the QEW and 403 in winter and strong sun off the lake in summer. The sealant is the piece that helps with both. It adds a slick, protective layer that makes the next wash easier and helps shrug off water and grime. It is not a ceramic coating and does not last as long, which is why the ceramic coating service exists for those who want more.
Many owners book The Full Detail in spring, once the last snow has gone, and again before winter. The how often to detail guide suggests a rhythm.
