Start with prep

Dirt-heavy cars benefit from a bit of prep. Remove loose items, mats and anything valuable, and let us know about the worst spots. Our prep guide has a quick checklist.

Photos on the quote form help us judge how much time to book. A very muddy truck can take the full 5 hours.

Rural dust is hard on carpet and vents, and mud is hard on paint, so it makes sense to treat both ends of the car and then seal it. We recommend leaving enough room around the vehicle, a driveway rather than a narrow lane, so we can open doors fully.

If you have a dog or work boots in the back, flag it. Pet hair is +$40, and winter salt on the carpet is +$40.

The package

The Full Detail starts from $176 $220, 3 to 5 hours.

  1. Interior: deep vacuum, steam, carpet and seat shampoo extraction, leather clean and condition, glass, trim and console.
  2. Exterior: hand wash and dry, iron and tar decontamination, clay bar treatment.
  3. Wheels and tires cleaned, trim dressed.
  4. Sealant applied to the paint for protection.
  5. Final walk-around with you, panel by panel.

Trucks add $40, SUVs $30, vans $50.

Allow time for the full five hours if your vehicle is a three-row SUV or a truck with a big cab. We will confirm a window with you after the quote.

Why do it all at once here

A rural-road car works against itself: wash the outside and the muddy boots re-dirty the inside; clean the inside and dust on the paint comes in at the next door opening. Doing both in the right order, interior first, then exterior, then sealant, stops the loop.

The sealant then makes the following wash faster, since dust and mud rinse off more easily. If you want longer protection, ask about ceramic coating.

The sealant is not a coating, so it will not last as long, but it is a sensible option for a vehicle that gets dirty again quickly. Think of it as making each future wash easier, not as armour.

Mud season versus winter

Spring is the hardest time for the cars around Waterdown: salt and slush from winter give way to mud and thawing gravel roads. A full detail after the thaw clears all of it from carpet, door jambs and paint. In autumn, the same visit puts a sealant on before leaf-fall and the first salt.

Between details, a rinse on a quiet day helps. Avoid scrubbing a dusty car with a dry cloth, since the grit scratches the paint. The spring detailing after winter guide explains the sequence in more detail.

We work Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Rain means a free reschedule or a move to a covered spot, and payment is by card, e-transfer or cash after the walk-around.
