Family cars, family mess.
Timberlea is mostly detached homes with attached garages and driveways that fit two vehicles. That makes it easy for us to park beside the car and work with the doors open. The vehicle is usually the family SUV or minivan: car seats, cereal, juice, dog hair and a cargo area full of hockey and soccer gear.
The interior is where we spend most of our time here. Interior Restoration starts from $119 $149, plus $30 for an SUV or $50 for a van or minivan.
Car seats, stains and crumbs.
Fabric seats and carpet hold on to spilled milk and juice, and old spills can turn sour in a warm car. Shampoo extraction pulls the liquid out instead of pushing it deeper. For heavy stains, the add-on is $50, and for pet hair it is $40.
If you have kids, our family car detailing tips show how to keep up between visits. We can also work while you are at home or at work, as long as the car is accessible and you are free for the walk-around.
Cargo areas get the same treatment as the seats. Sports bags, wet boots and groceries leave marks on the carpet and the load floor, and a proper vacuum, steam and extraction pass gets into the corners where a quick tidy never reaches. If the car also hauls a dog, ask about pet hair removal in the same visit.
Commuting out of town.
Timberlea residents often head to Highway 401 or into Mississauga, so winter salt and highway grit settle on lower panels. Brake dust also builds on wheels from the stop-and-go sections on Derry Rd and Bronte St. Exterior Revival starts from $103 $129 and covers iron decontamination, clay bar and wheels.
A complete refresh with sealant protection is The Full Detail, starting from $176 $220.
