Tight lots and mature trees.
Many Old Milton homes were built long before two-car garages, so you will see single-width driveways, parking pads and cars left on the street. We bring our own water, power and lighting, so all we need is room to walk around the car and open the doors. If your driveway is narrow, tell us when you book and we will plan the setup before we arrive.
Street parking is fine if the street allows it and we can stand beside the car. Check local parking rules for the day, since we cannot move your car for you.
Older houses also mean older trees overhead and overhead wires, so we check where we can safely set up before we start and keep the car out of drip lines when we can. A short call or text beforehand sorts that out in a minute.
What big old trees leave on paint.
Shade is lovely until you look at the roof and hood. Maples drop sap, seeds and sticky honeydew, and birds roosting overhead add droppings. Left on a hot panel, any of it can etch into the clear coat. Our sap and bird dropping guide explains what to rinse off straight away and what to leave for a proper wash.
Clay bar treatment, part of Exterior Revival, lifts the bonded sap film that a normal wash skips. A sealant on top makes the next round of leaves and seeds easier to remove.
Downtown driving, short trips.
A lot of Old Milton driving is short: Main St, Martin St, the GO station run, a trip up Ontario St. Short trips mean the engine rarely warms fully and the interior fills with coffee spills, school bags and salt in winter. Interior Restoration starts from $119 $149 and covers steam, shampoo extraction, leather and glass.
For a car that needs both ends of the job, The Full Detail starts from $176 $220 and finishes with a sealant.
Nearby and how to book.
Milton is a core service zone, so there is no travel fee. We also work in Timberlea and Willmott, and the Milton car detailing page lists the rest. When you are ready, request a quote. Photos are optional, and the quote usually comes back the same day.
